75th Birthday Card

A dear blogging friend of mine has been missing from blogging lately in dealing with her husband's health issues, but he recently celebrated his 75th birthday, so I sent him this card. I chose vanilla, black and gold for the color combo, using a SU! stencil to sponge the background with antique linen distress ink. I used my long overlooked SB labels 18 dies to cut the black panel, adding die-cut numbers with SU! dies and gold glitter paper. I added a little bow from some gold cording and added a Gina Marie Designs die-cut sentiment from gold foil card stock. I kept this simple as I think men prefer their cards that way, but celebrating 75 years is a big deal!

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great week ahead!

Carol
