While making this Valentine recently, my intention was to use some ribbon I've had for years that was unopened. I used a retired SU! embossing folder for the background, along with a Simon Says Stamp large heart doily die for the main attraction. The sentiment is from SNSS and was done with MFT fishtail flag frame dies and placed on a strip of matching ribbon. This card was quick and simple to make but the bulky ribbon will be extra postage, so I will hand deliver this one to my husband. The inside says simply "I love you."
I'm sharing this with the Double D challenge of "hearts." They have a mood board to inspire us but we can use any color we choose.
Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day whatever you do!

This is a delightful way to use your ribbon. I love that knotted bow in the center of that beautiful heart. We should all bring back ribbon on cards as most of us probably have tons of it in every color!
Perfect, I love the heart with the addition of the ribbon. It's rather symbolic as I see it that you and your husband are tied together with love and that's so nice to see or I'm just a hopeless romantic lol. It's a great card and I love the fact your sentiment on the inside is simply 3 words... It's all you need really x
Oh Carol this is just beautiful! Love the embossing and the gingham! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Double D ‘Hearts’ challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.
