First Valentine

I finished a valentine and kept it pretty simple. I used a PTI die for the sentiment in the center, die-cutting from white card stock and red felt. The water colored background was done with an Aqua brush and some real red ink along with a spritz of water. The felt hearts and black arrows were cut with a SU! Love Notes framelit die set. I used a craft knife to cut a slit into each heart so I could insert the arrows. I added some Geo Sparkler stickers in tiny red hearts and circles, then added some sparkly clear Nuvo drops to the sentiment panel and added more droplets randomly on the card.

I suppose I'd better get busy on those Valentine cards as it's just about a month away already! I'm way behind on what I usually have done by now........sigh :)

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a wonderful day whatever you're doing!

Carol

Wow!!! Another so clever and impressive card from you!!! Amazing!!! It has a fabulous romantic and vibrant feel with those felt hearts and it's really brilliant that you cut a slit in the felt to insert the arrows!!! Love the water coloured background and the texture of the paper, and those cute tiny stickers!! The sparkling white sentiment with the felt insert is an amazing catch-eyes!! Wonderful valentine card!!

(Just proofing and noticed that I've used both heartfelt and felt heart, thanks to your design! Love that, haha!) Sorry I've been busy and rubbish at visiting! Hope you both are starting the new year out well!! Hugs, Darnell xxoo
