Another Retirement Card

I made this masculine retirement card using a Tim Holtz stamp set on some Midnight Muse card stock. I heat embossed the sentiment with silver embossing powder, adding silver and blue brads for accents. I tore the sentiment panel to give it a more rustic look, but I'm not sure I accomplished what I set out to create. The clock faces were stamped with white craft ink in the background to represent the element of time.

I'm entering this into the Cardz 4 Guyz challenge #211 which is to use Trains, Planes and/or automobiles.

Also entering into the Stinkin' Inkers Challenge Blog "It's News to Me"Create a card or project using anything coming up in the new year that is new
to you, for example: new job, baby, wedding, retirement, graduation, new home etc.

Wishing you and yours a great weekend. It's going to be stormy for quite a few of us, so stay warm and stay inside if you possibly can!

Carol

Midnight blue and silver together are just perfect for a masculine card and all the elements you put on the card have a clean male feel, well done!! I'm not too much able to make "true" masculine designs :)
The torn sentiment looks great!!
Hugs!
P.S. The new Allsorts challenge theme is "masculine", if you are interested ;)

You used such cool elements to create this awesome retirement card! Love the blue and silver embossing! Love the truck, the clocks and the nice saying! Great card, Carol! Stay warm the next few days! We had some snow earlier but now it changed over to all rain...heavy at that! Talk about a mixed bag!

What a beautiful sentiment for your card and adding the clock face made it a companion to the sentiment. Love the hubcaps! Hope your winter storm is over and you are safe and cozy.
