Autumn Birthday

Now that this card has been received, I'm going to share it here. I wove some leftover strips of autumn dsp from Tim Coffey that I've had for years to make the background, then die-cut the panel with a Lil Inker stitched rectangle die. Next I took a snippet of card stock and embossed it with a SU! basketweave ef, sponging some rust ink all over it before hand-cutting it into a banner. The heart is from the SSS Thank you heart die set and I cut it from a piece of corrugated packaging, adding some white ink and gold twine. The sentiment was heat-embossed with white ep on espresso card stock that was die-cut with MFT label dies. Lastly, I added a few tiny amber gemstones for a little sparkle and placed it all on a sage card base. I thought it was perfect for an autumn birthday when I finished it.

I'd like to share this with the following challenges:

the Snippets Playground #340 - must use snippets

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day whatever you're doing!

Carol
