I made this card for my neighbor's grandson who celebrated his first birthday. I've had this Stampabilities Elmo stamp for years and dusted it off to make this card, because I've never met a child who didn't love Elmo! I stamped the image and colored it with Copics, and added a sentiment that was personalized with his name. I used all bright primary colors and a piece of yellow polka dot dsp, matting all the elements with red, green, blue and yellow cardstock - putting it all on a blue card base. The birthday sentiment is by SU! and was embossed with white ep on red and matted with a snippet of green card stock. The "1" was done with a wooden stick stamp and placed on a stitched die-cut circle and matted with SB circle and scalloped circle dies. The background is a piece of SSS orange peel cardstock and was embossed with a SU! decorative dots ef. It was quick and easy to put together and I think it turned out cute. Paxton enjoyed it too :)

Fantastic kids card, Carol! I love that stamp and I enjoyed using it when my GS was tiny. The primary colors look great! The fact that it is personalized is even better and will mean so much.
A fun and cute card and surely Elmo is one of the most loved buy the little kids! :D Well done! Love the "Lego-style" embossed panel!! :D
What a FUN card, Carol! Seeing Elmo on your card brought back alot of memories for me! Kelsey loved Elmo from day 1. The first Elmo that came out was battery operated we got her one and it was the craze that year! Everyone had to have one and paid top dollar for it. She loved that thing and still has it....25 years later! I just love this card in case I have not told you so! Love how you personalized it with the number 1 and all the colors are fitting for an Elmo card! Awesome, awesome card and thank you for a trip down memory lane! It's adorable! Happy Birthday, Paxton!
What a great little kid's card this is, Carol! I can just see how tickled Paxton must have been! Actually, most of us adults grew to love Elmo through our kids, so this design would work for any age! Hugs, Darnell
