While making this card recently, I decided to make a 2nd one using the same SU! dsp for the background. The paper just screams masculine to me. I die-cut the dsp, black panel, and kraft card base with Lil Inker stitched rectangles and then added a SNSS stamped birthday sentiment to a panel of vanilla and die-cut that with a MFT stitched die. I added a few brads and some brown and white twine to finish this card.
I'm sharing it with the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge which is "for the boys." My card is for one of the big boys :)
Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day whatever you do!

I just love this, Carol! This paper makes such a cool masculine card without being for someone who fishes or hunts because not all men do those things! Love how you always use the stitched rectangles on your layers....it adds so much! You've also added a great sentiment to this with a bit of twine and some brads! Perfect guy card! TFS and hope your having a wonderful Friday! Hugs~
VERY masculine and VERY nice! Love the clean cut lines on this and of course that DP too. Great card Carol

Such gorgeous masculine design, Carol! The large sentiment part adds bold mood to the card. I also love the layers you creates with different colors of papers. I love layers!
