Mosaic Christmas Angel

I recently made this Christmas card with bits of some leftover SU! dsp that were too small to use for anything else. I started with a piece of cardstock run through the Zyron to coat it with adhesive, then placed those bits randomly, leaving spaces between. After all the snippets were placed, I heat-embossed with gold ep and then die cut the panel and card base with Lil Inkers stitched rectangles. I added a cherry cardstock oval done with a GMD stitched oval die, then made the angel. The angel is a GMD die that I cut from foiled gold and vanilla and inlaid the vanilla negatives back into the gold. The sentiment is a portion of the Peace on Earth die done with a Die Versions die.

I'm entering this into the following challenges:

the Snippets Playground #321 - must use snippets
CHNC #375 - Christmas anything goes - optional vintage or shabby chic

Oh, and if you're wondering what I did with the snippets from making this card, I made a 2nd card...

I noticed in the photo that I need to make some adjustments on the gold inlaid pieces on the angel but that's minor. The word Peace was die cut with a MB die and the mosaic frame is the piece leftover from cutting the rectangle on the first card. I used it to frame this card.

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great kick-off to the weekend!

You are the queen of Paper Quilter cards! Love the random look of this mosaic (and you know I'm thinking quilt!) The cherry cobbler looks so pretty behind the lovely angel. Kudos to you for using the left bits to create a frame for the 2nd angel. The foiling on #2 angel has such a glimmer to it Both cards are just gorgeous. TFS & Hugs
