Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge

I dug into my snippets box and came up with the elements to make this card. The SU! birthday sentiment was previously stamped and cut with a SB labels 25 die and waiting to be used. I found a scrap of beautiful turquoise colored cardstock, so I cut 4 panels of it with a MFT horizontal stitched strip, then aligned them up side by side into a CB birthday embossing folder. I added a snippet of ribbon to the first panel, then added the die-cut Sweet'n Sassy border to the bottom. The white border was previously cut and I had just enough turquoise cardstock left to cut another border, swapping the negatives to coordinate everything together. The final touch was to add 3 tiny turquoise gemstones from my stash.

I'm entering this into the Repeat Impressions F1418 challenge which is the following tic-tac-toe grid...

I used the left vertical line to make my card.

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great Monday.

Carol

Love your card - it is so striking with the bold teal and white. The gingham ribbon tied around one side is so sweet!

Oh my, I love the colors of this birthday card Carol! What a cute idea to die cut strips and emboss them, loving that look. I also love that border strip as well, so happy you had enough of the turquoise paper to cut a second one and could use the "extra's" to fill in the white one. Looks so beautiful! Hugs, Brenda

I love it. What a great idea to split up the embossed panel that way. Your card is awesome.
