Today's card is a simple design that enabled me to use some small snippets of cardstock and designer paper. The square panel began with white cardstock, where I heat-embossed the Stampendous "square illusion" background with white embossing powder and sponged some raspberry Distress ink all over it, then cut it with a square stitched rectangle die. I die-cut the TE thanks sentiment from black, added some snippets of dsp cut into fishtails with a square punch; a few black sequins, and called this one done.
I'm sharing it with the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge which is to make your own background.
Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a wonderful day.

Very cool card, Carol! Love the colors and how you created the background! Love the design, too...especially the different mix of papers and patterns for your banners! Super fun card! Hope you have your umbrella handy today....going to be needing it for the next few days...
Love how you've mixed the patterns and still made a clean and unfussy card.
A super card Carol, I love your background stamp and great CAS design.
