I made this Memory Box butterfly with some dark blue cardstock and a snippet of polka dot paper and placed it on a Gina Marie Designs stitched square die-cut of watercolor paper that I smooshed and splattered with yellow and blue inks. I added a printed sentiment from SNSS that I've had in my doo-dad box for ages - matting it with some matching dark blue cardstock. It's on a Hello Honey cardbase.
I'm sharing this with the following challenges:
DCC13- Things with Wings
SOS335 - Watercolor with Us
There won't be any butterflies in my world today as we're in the midst of a wickedly cold and windy snowstorm, but I can look at this card and dream, right? Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day!

Very pretty card.I like the blue with that honey color, and the watercolor part is very artsy. We are in the same snowstorm. It’s a good day to stay home!!

Hi Carol, take care of you in these bad weather days!
You card with butterfly is adorable, and a great way to use scraps! Lovely inked background, too!
Hugs and stay warm!
Gorgeous card, Carol! So nicely done and that butterfly is beautiful! Yes, we can dream because anything is better than this cold & wind! Ughh! Sorry I've been MIA. Taking a break this week and hope to get back at it soon. Take care & stay warm, my friend! Love & hugs~
This is so pretty!! Love the dark outline over the patterned paper; what a great look! You must be on the East Coast getting that storm. I live in RI and we got hammered today. Luckily, we are in Florida on vacation. Hope you stay safe! Thanks for playing with The House That Stamps Built.
Since I love blue and butterflies are a favorite This is a winner .Lis
You are brilliant to make a light and lovely card to help you float away in daydream land right now, Carol! The weather where you are is all over the news and my heart really goes out to you humans and especially to all the little doggies who have to go out to wee! Take care, stay in, and stay warm!! Hugs, Darnell
I sure wish it was time to see pretty butterflies. Love the splash of watercolor you used to perch this winged beauty on.
Love the way you layered your lovely butterfly over watercolored paper! So pretty! Thanks for linking up to The House That Stamps Built!
One of MB's best butterfly dies IMHO, and it looks so delicate & springlike with the dot paper background. Really pretty against the softness of the smooshed colors too. Just the thing to brighten a cold windy day. The blues look so nice with the sunshine background of the card base too. TFS & Hugs
