Masculine Birthday Cards

I love this KaiserCraft deer die because it makes great masculine cards for many occasions. Today I used it for birthday cards. I die-cut the panels with Lil Inker stitched rectangles and placed the deer (cut in black) on top of the vanilla panel. The sentiment panel was stamped with a Sweet 'n Sassy stamp and that's pretty much all there was to it.

Here's an almost identical card to the one above except the sentiment was done with a different Sweet'n Sassy stamp that has softer fonts than the version above.
I'm sharing with the Shopping Our Stash #338 - you say it's your birthday challenge.

Thanks for dropping by, and have yourself a fine day!

Carol

This really does make a great guy card. The stag head is impressive in the focus, and the gingham really looks like soft flannel of the hunting shirts the guys wear. Like the twofer you got from this design just by changing up the sentiment font too. I like the dimension on the fishtail banner. Great cards. TFS & Hugs

It's a great die and used brilliantly for your masculine cards, that check paper really adds to the manly feel. Nice job as 'male' cards aren't always easy x

Love this card Carol, perfect masculine card! Both fonts are fabulous but I really love that first one. I also love the plaid you used on these two cards. I might have to CAS this one for my step father's birthday. Hugs, Brenda

I've got to find that die!!!!! Love your card and it's perfect for a guy.
(Computer died a horrible death so won't be around for a while. I don't do very well one finger typing on the phone or iPad. I'll be back at some point.).
