Traditional Christmas Colors

I have a quick and easy Christmas card design today that makes good use of those snippets of dsp and ribbon you have lying around. I used a Stampin' Up! Petals a' Plenty ef for the red, and an embossing folder from a Sizzix Snow Globe/Powdered Sugar ef set for the white. I added some green ribbon from PTI that I've had for ages. The card bases are Wild Wasabi green and the side panels are Real Red. I added a Christmas sentiment from SU! and die cut it with a SB Nestabilities labels 25 die, drawing around the inside of the die with a red marker before cutting. The holly leaves and berries were done with a Poppystamps Holly Leaves and Berries die set and that's pretty much all there was to assembling these quick and easy cards.

Here are a few more I made using assorted embossing folders on the red and white panels for some variety.

I'm sharing with the Craftyhazelnut's CHNC #356 which is a/g as long as it's Christmas with the option of using traditional Christmas colors.

Thanks for stopping by and here's wishing you a great weekend!

Totally LOVE this card! Will be doing a CASE of it for sure. Love that holly embossing folder it goes so well with the SU one. Will have to see if I have something close in my folders. If we ever have our meet up at L&L you'll have to bring that folder along. Pretty sure she has a big shot in that back room for people to use when they come for the day. Have a great weekend the weather is going to be amazing!

Love the way you've combined these 2 EFs into the card front (and I have both of these! Yippee for the idea!) The stitched ribbon was a wonderful border to cover the join and I like the spray of bright holly attached to the sentiment too. TFS
