Summer Fun

I just can't seem to leave this pretty Lawn Fawn plaid paper pad alone!  I probably should have bought 2 at the rate I'm using it :)
I pulled out one of the first stamp sets I ever owned, gifted to me by my DIL eons ago. They're wooden stick stamps but have no name on them, but it's a complete set of summer-themed images. I used turquoise and kraft card stock for this with snippets of dsp, pastel blue and a snippet of red. Each of the images were stamped, colored, and covered with glossy accents, then cut with a 1" square punch. The die-cut stitched squares and layers of dsp were all cut with GinaMarieDesigns dies. The waves were done with Sweet'nSassy dies, and the sandy beach was done with Lawn Fawn stitched hillside dies. I threw in a tiny Impression Obsession die-cut sailboat in red just for some more summer fun. I stamped the kraft hillside diecuts with a retired SU! set that looks like sand and called this one done.

I'm sharing this with the following challenges:

Dies R Us Challenge #76 - layers and must use dies

the Snippets Playground weeks #287 & 288 - use snippets

the Little Red Wagon challenge #401 - wet and wild

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge # 8 - summertime fun plus use a lawn fawn product

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope your week ahead is a great one!

OMGosh, I swear I did not see this here yesterday. LOL, I am really slipping! This is such a great sunny card. Let me just say that some of the older stamps that have long been forgotten, produce amazing results! That detailed border at the bottom is to die for. Beautiful work!
