Sending Love
Here's a fun card made with a cute Penny Black image that I colored with Copics, and then added some glossy accents to the rose to make it pop. I matted the image with red, then added 3 mini banners on the side done with snippets of black & white dsp. The background was done with a SU! ef, and the sentiment was done with a SNSS stamp. The heart border was done with a Martha Stewart border punch and the twine is from the twinery.
I'm sharing this with the Penny Black Saturday challenge for May - which is wedding, anniversary & all things love.
Thanks for checking in today, and I send love your way for a brighter day!

A super card, I love the cute PB image and the heart embossing is lovely. The little touches of black add interest to the red and white scheme as well.

I keep wanting to do this challenge....guess I'd better get on it as the month is almost over. Perfect image for this month's theme. I love this little guy ok ok I'll admit there aren't many PB animals stamps that I don't like! I usually do glossy accents on his nose, will have to try it on the rose next time too!
ReplyDeleteNow how much cuter can a card get, love this and that heart embossed background, love it.xx [aNNie]
