I'm trying to use up my overflowing box of doo-dads and printed images, so I dug out all the Easter-themed prints and made a few cards. For this one, I began with the Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge #389 for the overall design. I wanted to play along with the Shopping our Stash SOS#289 challenge too - which is "winter blues." They're asking us to make a card using mostly blue, but not use a winter theme. I used Island Indigo because it closely matched the little vest the bunny is wearing, and I embossed it with a Darice basketweave ef. I added some punched borders of Blackberry Bliss cardstock with a MS doily and EK tiny scalloped dots punches. The pretty ribbon was a gift from a fellow blogger (your know who you are *wink*) and the tiny bunnies were die-cut with GinaMarieDesigns tiny bunny dies.
Finally, I'm entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge which is "cute." I think this bunny and sentiment are adorable - but unfortunately I have no idea how it came to land in my hands. It was a pre-colored digital image and that's all I know.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope your day is fantastic. We are supposed to hit record temps of 63 today and then tomorrow we're getting dumped with 4-8 inches of snow! I think I may be in the midst of a nightmare!? LOL
Carol
This is an adorable card, Carol. The bunny is the cutest. xx

ReplyDeleteOMGosh, this card is SUPER cute! I too have this image in my box, already pre-colored and not sure where or from whom?! It is awfully cute! Love, love, love that basket weave embossed background! It adds so much to your very cute card, Carol! I finished up Valentines Day yesterday for my customers now I need to do a few things for myself before moving on to Easter. Glad your a head of the game....me, not so much! Yea, the snowstorm they are calling for is just beyond me. It was 63 degrees last night and 24 hours later they are calling for 4-8 inches of snow. Crazy!! Anyways, TFS and I hope you enjoy this gorgeous day! Atleast here the sun is shining so beautifully! :)
