I recently bought this SB Love Vine die and made a few valentines with it from some pink, white and dark plum cardstock. As you'll see with these photos, I cut 3 dies - one in each color - and swapped the colors for different looks. For this one, I added an embossed panel of hearts for contrast.
For this version, I just swapped the colors and let the plum color take center stage.
Likewise for this simple white based version. The die speaks for itself and I didn't feel the cards needed anything else to embellish them. The inside greeting was a large "Happy Valentine's Day."

That is a very pretty die Carol and and it's interesting to see how different the cards look by mixing it up. They are three lovely cards. I really can't pick a favourite. Barbxx

ReplyDeleteGorgous die, and your colours choice brings the hearts to life in all the cards! The last white looks very clean and impressive! I love expecially the first one, too, that embossed background makes the heart pops out!

ReplyDeleteI really like those bottom two cards. That top one though.... oh my looked sort of like a real heart with the veins in it at first. Or maybe that's just my warped brain. In fact, I'm sure that's it!
