You may have noticed the big pink heart at the top of my sidebar recently - it's the notice for the annual Cards From the Heart Card Drive where Valentines are sent to children in hospitals. Just click on that pink heart (or the link above) and it will take you to the page where you can read all the details for participating.
I used this cute Unity image called Alfie and colored him with Copics. I added a snippet of dsp and a border done with a MS heart border punch. I made several of this design in different colors, and here's another one...
This one has a red panel that was embossed with tiny hearts instead of using dsp. Both cards were done on Smoky Slate cardstock.
If you have some time, I encourage you to make some Valentines for these children and send them in. They need to be in the hands of the distributor by January 30th, so it's time to push forward!

Alfie is so cute! You've made two darling cards with him. I thought about making Valentine's cards, opened the drawer with the VD and hearts and said, "Nope" and closed it back up. I guess I'd best rethink that.
