I colored and fussy cut this Tim Holtz dog and had no idea where I wanted to go with him, but I ended up making a card that pretty much shows how I feel about our ongoing uncivilized presidential campaign. Election day can't come soon enough for me!
I used random snippets of colored cardstock and cut them into different sizes with MFT stitched circles, layering them randomly until I was happy with the way it looked. I didn't add a sentiment, but I'm open to suggestions if you think of any :)
I'm sharing this with the Snippets Playground #254 because it's pretty much made entirely with snippets.
Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day!

I think your card is perfect!! Love the different color circles and your nicely colored pup! He looks confused as does probably half of America with this election! I'm sure as crazy as this race is we are not going to hear the end of it for a few weeks once the voting is over. Those 2 are going to fight to the bitter end! Every election year the battles just get dirtier & dirtier! I am not sure which direction this election is going to go but I don't think either way is going to be good. I agree with you though....I can't wait for the commercials to be over and my house phone to stop ringing! I feel just like your pup on the card! Confused! LOL TFS and enjoy this wonderful Fall day! Hugs~
I feel the same way about the election! LOL! CUTE card and I love all circles.

A Dog for President??? :D LOL ...Could be a good idea ;)
Fabulous catch-eyes card, full of colours! The crazy dog pop out so well on these layered these circles!
Happy Sunday!
This is the cutest ever! Sure made me smile this morning!
GREAT card Carol - and I did giggle at Alice commenting 'A dog for President?). In the UK we're sitting here with mouths open watching what's going on - maybe the dog bit is 100% right as it's sure like a dogfight right now! The design of your card is fabulous BTW!

I wish there was a way to make his eyes spin in circles, cause I am with you, this is insanity! Poor Di is sitting in the UK thinking we are all bloomin nutz! I love the colored circles, Carol!
Super card, clever idea to make the background with all those bright circles. Love the cute dog, great way to use up your snippets too.
Had to smile reading the comments about the Presidential campaign. I'm glad, living it the UK, that I don't need to make a decision who to vote for! xx
Like you Carol, I'm ready for this campaign to come to an end too. I'm sick of all of it and have been left as confused as your cute dog seems to be! Love how you did this one, the circle are brilliant!! I think a great sentient would be "when will the craziness end?". lol Hugs, Brenda
I'm with you all the way on this stupid election, Carol!! And what a fun card to use for a million reasons! I hope you made a dozen of them!! Hugs, Darnell
What a great way to make a background and use up scraps too. A gorgeous card.

Perfect card to sum up the occasion. That pup looks confused, disgusted and dismayed all at once. You know the worst thing about this election???? One of them has to win! EEp!
Great card Carol, nice and colorful. I have to agree it all needs to come to an end, but I don't think we'll see the end of this for weeks to come. Have a good night.
Such a cutie card! And I am not even thinking about the election...there is no light at the end of that road! Eeekk
Oh Ho! Perfectly expressed sentiments!!! Your dog is just delightful fun and adding those bold splashes of colored circles..what chaos! A very apt analogy of our country's chaos! TFS & Hugs.
