Sympathy

It's always good to have a sympathy card on hand for quick mailing, so I made this quick and easy one in just a few minutes. The image is SU! (retired) and I colored the stamp with markers before stamping. I die cut it with SB petite ovals, and then embossed the card-base frame with a SB scalloped petite oval die. I added a SU! sympathy sentiment done with a word window punch and fussy cut a matching mat of GinaK pink cardstock.

I'm sharing this over at the Little Red Wagon challenge #354 which is "in sympathy."

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a fabulous weekend!

Carol

A beautiful card, Carol! I love how simple this is from the embossed scallop oval to the pretty flower. Sympathy cards are not always an easy card to create but you did a wonderful job on this! This will definitely be appreciated by the recipient when needed.
Stay cool & have a great weekend! :)

The embossing is so pretty, is that just with one die? It is a very nice Sympathy card and I agree it is best to have them on hand.

This is so pretty Carol, I love the soft watercolour flower and the dry embossing is the perfect frame for it. Now I have yet another retired SU stamp to track down! Cathy x

You have made a gorgeous card for the challenge. I just wish we did not need to have so many of these on hand.
