Border Interest

This dog's expression says "wanna play?" so that's the sentiment I put inside. Once again, I've used another Tim Holtz crazy dog image, and colored him with Copics. I fussy cut him and placed him on top of a die-cut stitched rectangle. All the papers are Basic Grey and I matted the dsp panels with caramel and celery cardstock. The vertical border was done with a scalloped star border die, and after cutting it twice with both the caramel and brown dsp, I swapped the tiny stars for a little interest. The final touch was a thin strip of celery cardstock to edge the star-scalloped border and tie it all in together. The card base is Soft Stone.

Thanks for checking in today and I wish you a wonderful Wednesday!

Super adorable card, Carol! This is the look my dogs have been giving me when they come in from outside the last few days! LOL They are not caring much for this heat either and i'm sure playing ball is not on their lists of fun stuff until it gets cooler! Your doggie reminds me of Bailee with her tongue hanging to the floor! Super cute dog image and cool design on this card! TFS and I hope you have a great day! :)

Cute dog image and I love the layout of this card. Your two colored border is just as nice as can be. Hope you are cooling down there in PA.

Ah! So much silly fun with this card. I really like the border. It does look like that pup wants to play but I think he wants to know why every time he brings you back the ball you just throw it again?!

This one came out so cute, my friend. I just love the old Basic Grey papers, and I am sure they are missed dearly. I don't think we will ever tire of these TH birds, cats and dogs.

Carol,
What a great card with the Crazy dog as the centerpiece. Great execution of the theme "Make for the Border". I love the stars in the border die.
