for Mom

Here are a couple cards I made for Mother's day by making a pinwheel from retired SU! dsp. I cut 1" squares of dsp and matching cardstock, then used a SU! boho blossoms punch for the center flowers, adding a black brad to the center. The black was done with a SB Lotus die, and the sentiment is from Verve. This color is Crisp Cantaloupe......

and this color is Blushing Bride.

The Cards in Envy challenge this week is "just us girls" and I'm sharing my cards there.

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great Monday.

  2. Oh my gosh this is such a clever idea to take the squares to make a flower with!! Also another great idea is to use up those papers which we all have an abundance of!! :) I love these! HUGS

  3. This is too funny! I was just looking at a tutorial to remind myself how to make these pinwheel cards. Love how you layed it over that die and added the flowers. Great cards!

  4. Another great design, (well, no it doesn't look like a quilt, but it's in that genre, ya know!) Looks great to have these layered over the doily, and bet you used up some snippets in these 2! Pretty cards for Mom's Day. TFS & Hugs
