Let's Polka!

The Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge is featuring Lawn Fawn products this week, and the challenge is "Let's Do the Polka" / use polka dots.

I pulled out a Penny Black image and created the background with Lawn Fawn Polka Dot papers and some MFT Stitched Strips dies. To coordinate the left panel with the image, I added some twisted blue, green and white twine and placed some punched red hearts on top using foam tape. The sentiment is by SNSS.

I'm also sharing this over at the Snippets Playground #224, since I used scraps of polka dot dsp to make the background.

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day!

Carol

Such a fabulous card Carol! Reminded me that I have that super cute PB stamp and never think to use it other than for Valentine cards - it works perfectly with the spotty papers and the 'balloons' down one edge of your card are a really clever idea!

Thanks for coming to play in the Snippets Playground!

Hugs

This is darling, Carol. Love all the polka dots and I especially love how you went with the twine and hearts on the left hand side. I'm going to assume this will brighten some sick child's day in a very big way. Lucky them to have you and your talents. Enjoy the weekend.

Cuteness overload! I love it! I love that you made your own string of hearts balloons off to the side. When I saw those stitched dies my first thought was you did SEWING on your card. I'd have to disown you then. *wink*wink*

Wow, this is a gorgeous card Carol, I so like the way you echoed the balloons on a string with the lovely string with hearts. It makes the card very tactile.

Got a glimpse of my fav hedge when enjoying your snippets card, so of course had to see what was about with Hedgie. Did you ever get in the polka dots. A clever layout, and colorful too, and what a delight of a card. Shows Mr. H off just delightfully. TFS
