I made this birthday card in shades of green, working around the watercolored background panel. I scribbled some shades of green wc crayon all over the panel, then spritzed it with water and just let it do it's own thing. After it dried, I embossed it with a Sizzix chevron ef. The next step was to add a dark green die-cut scalloped banner with a piece of pale green ribbon adhered to the upper portion. The chalk talk framelit die cut panel was stamped with a border from Summer Silhouettes which was colored with 3 matching Copic markers and a birthday sentiment. The final touch was a little green bow.
I'm sharing this over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge which is "A Bit O' Green."
Thanks for stopping by and do have a wonderful day!

This is away cool. Green makes me happy!
This is a fabulous card for those March birthday Carol! I love all the different shades of green. I think it is so cool the way you scribble watercolor crayon on the panel and let it do it's thing and then embossed it. The scallop banner is so "dressy" looking and I love the bread tag. That little design on it is perfect and the perfect place to put the greeting. Hugs, Brenda
