Quilt Card

I pulled out my MFT stitched quilt die and some favorite, hoarded, retired SU! Parisian Breeze dsp and made another quilt card. These patterns have always reminded me of old pajamas or men's shirts, so I thought they'd be perfect to put into a quilt card. The quilt is on a base of Soft Stone cardstock, and the sentiment was done with Baja Breeze ink. The "button" was done with an IO button die and I tied some Lawn Fawn twine to the center. The inside says "filled with lots of love."

I'm sharing this with the Shopping our Stash Challenge SOS#237 - which has a theme of "dreaming of something warm."

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day!

Carol

A gorgeous card, Carol. I love the colour choice. I've been trying to get this lovely die for ages, but it seems to be out of stock everywhere in the UK at the moment. Hopefully it hasn't been discontinued. xX

Lovely card Carol! Such gentle colours you used - and of course that's a fave die of mine, I was only looking at it yesterday thinking I should use it more!

Hope all is well with you.

I also think I may have a very small piece of the brown paper. Just a lovely card, Carol. They are nice warm colors to send someone warm wishes. Have a good day. We are getting snow tonight and again next Tuesday or so they say.

Caught a peek of this one, when looking at the navy & white, and of course had to zoom in closer. Now I LOVE this one. It really replicates the look I love in an old well worn, shirt pattern fabric quilt. LOVE, LOVE this one. (I still haven't used this die that you enabled me to buy! so much I love the die, I managed to get 2 of them!) TFS

Sorry, if I'm bothering you. I've been away from stamping for a few yrs,7about,due to a move to moms,& not much room. Starting to get back in the swing of things, sort of,at least on pinterest. Saw this beautiful card, would like to make one like it. Unfortunately I don't know what MFT stands for. If you, Carol or any of the other ladies on this thread can tell me, I would be very much appreciate it. So I can purchase the die. All beautiful cards in this contest.

to Jolene Harmon - it would be easier if you'd leave an email address to contact you so I could send you the information you wanted. MFT is My Favorite Things and here is the die I used.

Thanks so much for your response, to my question about MFT. My email or rather Gmail address is jokitty1234@gmail.com thanks for any info you can tell me. The paper for instance looks heat embossed, is it a special kind? And what company did you purchase it from? Thanks again so much for your time. Have a great day, JoLene
