I recently made this card for someone celebrating a milestone birthday. I embossed the background with a CB Geometric Rings EF on a 5x7 card base. I used a piece of lavender cardstock to cut the SB lotus die, then used MFT stitched circle dies to cut the center pieces. The large flourish is by Cheery Lynn, and the tiny flowers were done with a SU! mini punch and some amethyst mirror cardstock. I added lavender pearls to the flower centers, along with some satin ribbon and a SU! birthday sentiment, where the letter "i" was dotted with a lavender gemstone. The recipient loved this card and marveled over the fact that I even used her birthstone color of amethyst to create the flowers! That was purely accidental on my part, but I'm happy that I chose that color after her reaction when she received this card :) Sometimes you win, eh?
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a fabulous Friday!

What an absolutely beautiful card. I guess it must be for a lady as you've used that beautiful lilac and all the lovely diecuts and pretty purple flowers. She'll love it!. Barbxx

Really amazing creation here Carol!! I love the soft lavender hues and that embossed background is stunning!! Have a fabulous weekend! HUGS
I would marvel over receiving this stunning card in ANY color, Carol, but the fact that you accidentally nailed the birthstone color is so fun!! When the Muse is guiding you in these little surprise ways, it's really awesome!! Enjoy your day! Hugs, Darnell
Any and all cards of yours are winners, Carol. Please don't even doubt that. This came out stunning and you know I will be CASing it for the right person. I love everything single thing on this card. Hope you are doing better than last weekend with your weather. We are right now, but still a bit chilly.
A beautiful card Carol, a lovely embossed background and pretty colours.

This is really lovely Carol, what a happy coincidence that you chose the pretty colours that matched the lady's birthstone. I love the fabulous embossed card and your arrangement of the die cuts.

So pretty and delicate. The lovely color is the first thing that caught my eye. How fortuitous that you just happened to pick her birthstone.
Well win you did with this card Carol! This is a stunning card, and although I love all colors, purple has it's place and it doesn't work everywhere, but it sure works on this card. I just love it too!!! Very elegant my friend. Hugs, Brenda
I have those dies you inspired me to get them out Good job................Lis
Super combination of pretty dies with the elegant EF. I forget about this Lotus die, and it's so lovely the way you've combined with the other dies. Also love this serene color combination....it looks perfect for a regal & very special person's birthday. The ribbon looks like velvet, and those tiny flowers...just great attention to detail. (Yep, it's been lovely here in So. Fla. Warm, not hot, good breeze). TFS & happy Sunday
Gorgeous textures Carol, it's a very pretty card.
Love and hugs

I think February birthdays make for great purple inspiration. Your embossed background works well with with that medallion die.
Oh! how very beautiful, love your use of dies.
