Churndash Quilt

I made this card a while ago and never posted it, but decided to share it today with the Cards in Envy "Tickled Pink" challenge. I used little squares of coordinating pink dsp and cut them in half diagonally and horizontally to piece them into this quilt design. After it was all pieced together, I embossed it using a SU! square lattice ef, and added a punched mini flower to the center with a mini button brad. The sentiment is by Verve, and I used some really feminine pink lace dsp for the background.

Thanks for checking in today and I hope you're staying warm wherever you are. It's bitter cold where I live and more s.n.o.w. is on the way later today. I need a warm quilt to snuggle up with for sure!!

Yes we need to keep warm and this quilt will do the trick. It is gorgeous. I love that paper backing up your gorgeous quilt design. I could wrap it around me right now and just sit by the fire. Enjoy your President's Day.

This is a beautiful quilt card Carol! Loving your quilt design and the papers you used. So pink, so girlie and so perfect. Yes, very cold here in PA!!! I don't like polar arctic cold and yes, it is snowing...again! But it is what will come later tonight into tomorrow!! What a mess it will be for sure. So best stay in and stay warm!! Hugs, Brenda

Bitter cold here too! That's in the office, could be nice outside, should be nice outside. I have my mittens on. Beware that S word!!!

This card is darling--little pink quilt-so girly. I've made pieced quilts like this before and never thought to run them through the embossing machine.

Your quilt card may be a little too small to snuggle in order to stay warm - but just looking at it makes me warm! So pretty and I love that background paper you used. Pretty and pink.

Aw, you know I love your quilt cards. The delicate pinks are so pretty, and what a pretty design this layout made. And the mesh EF looks like the old-time tight quilting stitches. Pretty backgrounds to display your lovely quilt against too. TFS & Hugs
