Woodlands Thank You

I used a borrowed (thanks Mary Anne) SU! Woodlands embossing folder for my card today, smearing white ink on the folder before running a piece of kraft cardstock through it. I love how it makes the trees look like white birches! I added a snippet of red cardstock die-cut with a SNSS bird die, and white embossed the HA sentiment on a snippet of black, and called this one done!

I'll be sharing this over at the Snippets Playground #214.

Wishing you a great Sunday, and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Carol

Beautiful look with that embossing folder with the white ink. The nice black sentiment piece looks great against the lighter backdrop. Enjoy your Sunday.

Love this card Carol and this embossing folder! I tried to order it, but it was out of stock when I did. I hear they are bringing it back though, so you can be sure I will jump on it when they do. lol I love how you inked the folder to make the trees look white just like birch trees. Love the red cardinal against the white and kraft colors. Hugs, Brenda

Ah, you know this one is gonna be dear to my heart. I LOVE this EF and have not used mine yet. (Why is that?) And it just is perfect for this cheery little red guy perched on the limb. Wonder which white ink you used on the kraft, because it certainly yielded a beautiful soft look. Last one I tried, (a pigment) it smeared terribly. Love this! Hope all the white stuff is gone, with no repercussions. Hugs & TFS
