Today I have a couple thank-you cards that were sent in my last box to OWH but never posted. I was trying to use up a BG paper pad that I've had for ages and just wasn't sure what to do with the graphic patterns. I paired the paper up with some Razzleberry cardstock, an OWH sketch, and a Unity thank-you stamp and thought it looked like a good masculine thank-you card, so I decided to make another one with a different color..........
I used the same sketch with some Midnight Muse blue cardstock for this one. I made a few more of this design in other colors and tucked them into the box before mailing it off to OWH before they closed earlier this month.
I'm entering these into the Unity FWF challenge ......and......
the SOS #215 "Layer it On Me" challenge since these cards have a few layers of paper and cardstock.
Thanks for spending a few moments of your day with me, and I wish you all a wonderful weekend ahead!
Carol

You put this graphic paper to fabulous use. I think it looks great. I love those stars and I'm sure the heroes truly appreciated these cards.
Wishing you a great day. It is so muggy here, today is the worse I've ever seen it this year. The temps are down a bit the but air is super thick. Even my babies went out the door and turned right around to come back in.
These are really lovely Carol. Sometimes our paper we buy looks great at the time but if you are a paper hoarder (like me) by the time you go to use it you can't think of what to use it for! LOL Luckily, eventually it comes to us and it makes for a great card after all!
Hi Carol, Your cards look really good. You're right, they are perfect cards for men. That paper would be ideal for mens birthday cards too and I love the stars. Barbxx
Your cards are great Carol.
Fabulous thank you cards Carol, your papers are perfect.

Lovely pair of cards!
These cards are very nice!
I'm sure the heroes have appreciated your CAS! Beautiful design and the stars look great! The second one is more feminine with the dots in round topper!
Great use of these papers for your backgrounds. I really like your two color options....hard to choose which I prefer! I love the serene look of the blue, but the razzleberry really brings pizzazz. Nice cards!!

Both cards are lovely, Carol, Great use of that paper!
Hope you were able to enjoy the cooler weather today. (finally, just hope it stays this way!)
I think BOTH of them made great masculine cards. Like the way you've combined the patterns of the dp with the solid colors. Also the circle mats onto the rectanglular mats is very interesting, as is the way you've done the slim center border strip. Then again, that could be part of the matting on the dp, can't quite be sure on this design. It's most attractive though! Well done! TFS & Happy wkend. Hugs too.
Fabulous cards, great design.

Nice card design and project, Carol.
Great card!
Love these! Great sketch and love those papers ♥
Great cards, Carol. And much appreciated by the men and women who serve in the military. I like that you focused on masculine cards. It is often difficult to create a masculine card. Nicely done =)
Nice job, my friend! You are so good at the manly cards!
What a genius way to use up a paper pad! Fabulous layered cards! Thanks for joining us this week at Shopping Our Stash!
Interesting paper for sure. I like the resulting cards. They sort of have a vintage grunge feel. Good for you for using up the weird paper!
