A Colorful Card Just Because...

Today I have a card that uses a technique called "Paper Batik." I found the tutorial here and just had to try making one of my own.

I stamped the SU! summer silhouettes images in versamark and then sponged on pear pizzazz, peacock feathers, and pretty in pink inks. The panel was cut with a Lil Inker stitched rectangle die and placed on a black cardstock base. The sentiment is from SNSS and was embossed with white ep on black and one end was punched with a SU! mosaic punch to make it a little decorative. I added some turquoise/white twine, along with some tiny turquoise, green and pink gemstones placed randomly on the panel. (Click picture to enlarge for detail)

I'm entering this into the Little Red Wagon #304 challenge to use the colors of turquoise, green, and pink.

I'm also sharing it over at the Tuesday Throwdown #259 "Just Because" challenge.

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you all a colorful day too!

Carol
