Christmas Quilt Card

I've made another Christmas card using traditional colors along with some blushing bride pink for the base color. I used the MFT stitched quilt die and made use of some retired SU! snippets of Christmas dsp, along with a Lawn Fawn stitched snowflake duo. The base of the quilt is the back of a paper pad cover. I like the definition of a thicker frame as opposed to regular cardstock, plus it makes use of something else that would just be tossed in the trash. The sentiment is from PTI done in early espresso ink, and I added a  pink Geo sparkler sticker to the center to keep this one flat for mailing.

I'm sharing this over at the July Rudolph Days as well as Pixie's Snippets Playground #187.

Have a great Saturday and thanks for stopping by!

Carol

Aw, you already knew I'd love this one! (I just got that die, and then got another one while waiting for the first one to show up...!) Love the colors you picked for your quilt, and I'm liking the way you've inlaid it. Just doggoned gorgeous, and I like that white framing around the quilt squares. Hope I can do something this pretty! TFS & have a great wkend. Hugs

I like the use of the thinker background of this card. I recognize those paper and probably still have some of them also. It all looks nice against the Blushing Bride and I love the center adornment. It is also in nice thing to upcycle. Have a fun weekend.

Gorgeous die. So perfect for a quilter friend. I have a lovely group of ladies that quilt together up at the lake, Each Tuesday they very kindly let me papercraft beside them...taking up valuable quilting table space! lol

I have admired this die on your blog before...but when I went to the MFT on line store, I could not find it...Do you happen to know the order number or squ?

Thanks for taking part in the July Rudolph Days Challenge.

Gorgeous card Carol - and such a great idea to make the frame from thicker material. I'll have to try that one out. Can see me flicking through paper pads for the back covers now :)

I just love these quilt cards you make. They have so much love in them. I would love to have that die and it is high on my wish list. I just had to submit a 20 page justification in duplicate for buying several small screw top jars (embellishment organization) so I doubt I can justify this die. LOL! Okay, our budgeting isn't that crazy but I am keeping a close eye.
