Rudolph Days Christmas Card

Here's my card for the June Rudolph Days which runs until the end of the month. I pulled this frosty little chap out of my box of stamped images (unknown mfr.) and made a herringbone background with some retired SU! dsp. I colored him with Spectrum Noir markers in shades of aqua and added a digital printed sentiment panel with the name "Bizzy Becs" on it. I embossed the herringbone background with a chevron ef from Sizzix.

I'm entering this card over at the June Rudolph Days challenge which is to make a Christmas card.

Thanks for stopping by, and merry Christmas in June :)

Carol

Fabulous card! I've never thought about embossing patterned paper, but I love the effect of the embossing on your card. Adorable little image too. xx

That's a rather clever background you have made. Love the colours and the cute little image. I missed last months challenge due to my Internet problems so must try and play this time round. Hugs Mrs A.

Love this chubby little snow friend! The aqua colors give him such a cool feel. The embossing over the chevron, adds just the right amount of texture!

Perfect icy cool color for this cute little snowy. Also love that patterned background with the embossing. Again, a great choice of the EF for adding so much texture to this card. Great coloring with the SN-s. I don't find that the ones I have - blend as well as Copics. You did terrific. TFS & Happy wkend. Hugs
