I bought this Poppy Heart Word Balloon die when it was first released, and tucked it away thinking it would make some great valentines. I recently pulled it out and made several cards with it because it they're quick and easy "love you" cards for my last OWH box that I'm putting together.
Today I have 2 versions made with GKD blue raspberry, black, and white cardstocks along with a small SSS love you die and Lil Inkers stitched rectangle dies. Anyone who knows me, knows I love interchanging those little diecut pieces, so I swapped the colors around for 2 different looks.
Here's another version with a different twist on the background pieces.
I'm entering these cards over at the Little Red Wagon Challenge #292 which is "use it up" (grab something new in your stash and use it.)
Here's wishing you a wonderful weekend, and thanks for stopping by!

Love the way you made two cards interchanging diecuts, it's a genial way to create quickly! Awesome! The balloons with these strip of hearts are stunning! Very pretty cards!
Have a wonderful weekend, my friend!
This super die looks great in both colour ways. Two more fab cards Carol, your OWH box must be getting full up now.
Enjoy the weekend

LOVE that heart die! I thought it was the longer heart die cut with a speech bubble. Now I wonder if I can do that ... hmmmm ....
Gorgeous cards, by the way!
Blue and white/ white and blue it is just as beautiful either way I like them both.........Lis
Oh Carol, I am so loving these cards! That speech bubble die with the hearts in it is so fabulous and I lovey how you always interchange the "guts" and get multiple cards. Love them both! Hugs, Brenda
So very cute. I am glad you were able to use this die for the first time. Thanks for joining us at Little Red Wagon this week.
Nicely done cards! Great way to get more purpose out of the die cuts! Must remember that! Thanks for sharing.
That's one thing I really love about the inlay die technique is that you end up with two (or more) versions so you can whip out more than one card. Love these, you are so creative!
Okay my friend, I think I have made my way through everything I have missed. You must have needed some therapy time, since you did your very favorite technique! These look fantastic! Hmmmm, more dies I did not know about! :)
