This is my 2nd post today, and I have a card that was made with a Tim Holtz "Burlap" stencil. I embossed the stencil onto a piece of vanilla cardstock and sponged it with Ranger Antique Linen, Tea Dye, and Vintage Photo inks. I tore the lower portion and sponged on more Vintage Photo ink to make it darker. I added 3 copper-colored brads, and a Hero Arts sentiment stamped with Vintage Photo ink. For the final touch, I added some vanilla seam binding; but I had 2nd thoughts that adding some burlap may have been a better choice. This is heading to OWH in my final box of cards.
I'm entering this over at the Simon Says Wednesday challenge which is "Stencil It."
That's it for today, but thanks for spending a few moments of your day with me.

Oh this is a pretty card Carol! I love that embossed piece and the way you colored it. I also love the vanilla seam binding and those cute brads. The sentiment is just perfect for an OWH card!! Hugs, Brenda
This is stunning, Carol!! Such a great 3D effect! Incredible! You are a queen of stencil, awesome!
I'm not sure that the burlap would have been better. That might have been too much texture on texture. I think this is perfect the way it is.
The burlap would have been nice too but I love the look you got with this embossing and sponging. The sentiment is ideal considering the down draw. Have a good night.
I love that stencil and it looks great on this card! Perfect sentiment too. Another wonderful card!!
