Flower Pot Card

I made a flower pot card for the MFP Speedy Cat & Friends challenge #252. If you've never tried making one of these, you can find a tutorial on their blog.
For my pot, I used some rust-colored textured cardstock, with an arched lace border done with a MS punch. The papers are SU! "in" colors along with some matching ribbon, and the sentiment is also by SU! done with oval punches. The flowers were done with a SU! punch, and the "buttons" were done with IO button dies. I did the bottom button layer with chipboard (A paper pad cover) and a top layer with dsp, putting them together with a drop or two of glue for added strength. I strung some twine through each button, adding a bow to the top blue flower.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day with lots of warm sunshine!

This pot of flowers is stunning, Carol. The papers all go together nicely and I love the way you made the pot with the MS punch along the top edge. Hope you are starting your warm up. We are and it is so nice to see some colors other than white in the yard. Only brown for the roof and fences but it is still a different color. LOL Enjoy your day.
