My Hubby's Christmas Card
I know Christmas is over, but I wanted to share the card I made for my husband this Christmas. I made an outdoor winter scene with a lot of snow. I started by stamping some evergreen trees with a stamp from Flourishes, doing one stamped off, and a darker one right over the that, and finally a really dark one right over both of them. I added some bare trees with a Memory Box Tall Forest Tree die, and then some die cut deer using the Memory Box deer trio. I put them behind a Lawn Fawn stitched hillside border die and added a SU! sentiment. The final touch was adding some snow with liquid applique. He really liked his card!
Today he shocked me when he woke up and wished me a happy anniversary! For the first time in 46 years he remembered it was our anniversary!! lol It usually goes by with little fanfare because it falls right in between two big holidays, but he's starting this day off on a real happy note :)
I'm taking this card over to the ScrapyLand challenge #8 which is "Holidays" using any dies ScrapyLand sells in their store." I used 2 MB dies and a LawnFawn die.
Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day!
Carol

I'm embarrassed to say that I did NOT make a card for Jim...but then all my Christmas cards are going out late this year.
Happy Anniversary to both of you. Hope it's a very special day.
This card for your hubs is scrumptious, Carol! My eyeballs can't get enough of it!! And speaking of your hubs, high five to him for finally remembering!
