Stenciled Blooms

The floral image on my card today was made with a brass stencil. I embossed a piece of text dsp on a light box, using a stylus with the stencil. Once the embossed image was visible, I colored it with some SU! Blendabilities and Copics. I added a snippet of long-retired SU! ribbon, a mat made of early espresso cardstock and a Hero Arts sentiment. The card base is very vanilla.

Thanks for stopping by today and make it a great Wednesday!

I really love the way this one turned out Carol. I don't have the patience to use the light box to emboss. My hat is off to you, your patience, and of course your talent. I always love it when you make your flat bows this way. This card is really special. Have a fun day.
I'm off to visit the doctor's office that I worked at now. I haven't seen them for 4 months now and I miss them all a lot.

Love it! I haven't used the bass stencils in so long and really think I either have this one or one similar. Love the background and the precious bow.

I love this Carol, you did a great job with the hand embossing. I never found that easy to do using a brass stencil. The lovely yellow flowers look nice and cheery, and I like the sentiment stamp.

Have a ton of these brass stencils, and thanks for the inspiration to go hunt them out. Love the embossing over the text paper. You're a genius! Really pretty with the coloring on the sunflowers. Love this one, Miss Carol. TFS & Hugs

This looks great! Do you think the embossing gets better with the light box vs. using the die cut machines?
