Dachshund Card
Here's my card for the Words2ScrapBy challenge #10 - "Paved with Paw prints."
I wish I knew where this cute digi image originated, but there's no name on the file, so I have no clue who created it. Being a huge fan of the dachshund breed, I love using it to make cards. I used SB square scallop dies for the image and tan mat, and then added some snippets of paper from an Autumn paper pad for the vertical panels. The typewriter paper was in my snippets container, and the colors were just perfectly matched to this fun pooch! I added a paw print brad for the final touch.
I'm also sharing this card over at the Snippets Playground #144.
Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day!
Carol

This is really adorable! I have made a card with this image as a 3d card...but that was a long time ago...not sure if I still have any info on it.

Hi Carol,
I've just come from 'Di's Playground' to say that your card is absolutely adorable - I love it. xx
Hi, Carol.
Know it's been said in previous comments, but this is absolutely adorable! I love everything about this card -- the doxie, the paper combination, and the little brad. How in the world do you manage to put snippets together so well... and where did you get that little brad?
Thanks so much for being such a loyal supporter of Words 2 Scrap By. We are always excited to see your interpretations. :)
How fun to see your doggie playing with Parsnip at the Snippets Playground. He reminds me of Charley (or Chuck as we call him..especially this expression on his little face). So cute, and congrats on being highlited! It's always a delight to see somebody I know get showcased. Well deserved too! TFS & Hugs. Happy Sunday
Hi Carol, what a fabulous snippet card. The dachshund is adorable and I love the typewriter paper ... as you say, the perfect colour match for your card. Elizabeth xx
What a totally fun image! Love the eyes! Your coloring is perfect and all the papers you used have just the right tone to them and match this image perfectly. Super cute! Hugz
That doxie is too stinking cute and you colored him beautifully. My mom just recently had to put her black and tan doxie to sleep, and this little guy reminds me of a skinner Penelope. The combo of papers are fantastic.
