I made this card for the Unity Wish With Your Heart challenge. There are inspirational photos and sketches to inspire you, and I chose the colors of the photo to make my card...
I used Unity's "Hey Girlfriend" itty bitty stamp & sentiment, using Versafine black ink, then heat-embossed with clear detail ep. I used post-it notes to sponge the rows of color and braided 3 strands of twine for the border and corner accent. The dsp is Cosmo Cricket, and I liked the ombre look that just seemed to work well with the image.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Very cool card, Carol, and the sponging of different colors looks awesome. I love the twine.
Love the way you masked off the stripes with the post it notes. Very stylish looking card and so pretty.

This is so lovely. I really like the bit of braided twine as I was a flower child...and braided headbands were what my girlfriends and I sported in our youth.
I still have those same girlfriends!
Wonderful card.
Love the Card Carol. Has that 40's to 50's feel with a little 60's thrown in. Great colors too. Jim
What a fun card Carol! I love the fun, bright colors in this one and I love those girl silhouettes. Hugs, Brenda

What a great card and sponging job. I love how you mimicked the sunset so well. The braided cording was a neat touch.
