I made this card using a Simon Says Stamp small "love you" die, and placed it on a die cut circle that I stamped using a Crafters Workshop/Balzer Designs Data Dots stencil. I sponged ink heavily in the center and a little lighter on the outside edges. Then I took the same stencil and embossed the horizontal panel with it, and I love the look of all those stamped and embossed data dots together! I used some of the new SU! "in" colors of cardstock and paper, adding some smoky slate to mat the circle and a SU! owl punch to make the hearts.
I'm entering this into the Simon Says Wednesday challenge to "Emboss it!"
Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day!

Love it! At first I didn't get what you meant but how did I miss that dot-embossed strip across the middle of the card?!?! duh!

Neat card, Carol. Like those colors together...very different but turned out so neat...makes this card pop...with all the texture too.
Just beautiful! Fabulous color coordination!
Great way to use the stencil. Love the little heart accents. Are they brads or punched from paper?
Love the dots behind the sweet sentiment, pretty card!!
I am loving the dots in ink and embossing too Carol and I love that paper pattern. This is a great card! Hugs, Brenda
Wonderful use of your stencil, Carol, and I love your design! Thanks for playing along with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
Great use of your stencil. I enlarged the photo and enjoyed the border strip details.
Lovely!
What a great idea to stencil the circle focal point and loved the embossed border strip. A great pattern combo too. You have the best eye for combining patterns! This is a really great graphic card, and of course, you know I love the die sentiment. TFS
Wow - love your bg on the circle - I really love the mixed media look on cards these days. This one is cute and so well done. Hugz!
