Simon Says Keep it Clean and Simple

I don't often make CAS cards because they're difficult for this layer-it-up girl to put together, but this should qualify for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge to keep it clean and simple. I colored the violet stamp with markers before stamping, and then added a little more color with the same markers after stamping. I die cut an oval into the lavender cardstock and framed the violets with this panel and called this card done!

Wishing you a great Monday and thanks for stopping by!

Carol

If you have trouble with CAS it sure doesn't show here. Gorgeous card. The coloring is impeccable. NO the birds didn't peck at it. Beautifully colored.

Well, this pretty card shows that you SHOULD do CAS, cause you are a dab hand at it! I totally love that reverse emboss look you have going on with the aperture. That is SO elegant, with this especially delicate stamp. Your coloring is super great on this too. Well done. I'm off to enjoy those posts I've missed while Life gets in the way of surfing blogs! So elegant! Beautiful coloring on the image, and I really like the recessed effect on the image.

The results are one stunning card. You do so well with coloring the stamp with markers and getting a decent impression out of it. I do it, it looks like little kids played with colors in some random design.
