Birthday Cards

Here's my card for the OWH ODBD April challenge to use "insects." This is an Inkadinkado image, stamped with Versamark and embossed with gold ep. I colored it with Neon Copics and added 2 gold brads to the wings. The sentiment was also embossed in gold and I used scraps of cardstock from my stash. I used the OWH sketch #219 which works well with larger images or sentiments.

Here's a card I made for the Cardz4Guyz #13 challenge which is "numbers." I used a sheet of Echo Park dsp that had some bingo numbers on it and turned it into a masculine birthday card for "Dad." I layered 2 SB die cuts and added some twine and a few mini star brads in black, gold and brass colors. I'm also entering this into the OWH midweek throwdown which is to make a masculine card with any theme.

That's going to do it for me today, but I wish you all a happy Wednesday!
Thanks for stopping by!

Carol

I came to my blog and look who popped up immediately. :-) Two great cards. Wow! That neon butterfly is awesome. I don't have any neon Copics but they are really cool.

I love the Bingo card. It makes a fabulous "Dad" card.

That is one ornate dragonfly. I love all the different colors you added to it. The man card is nice too, black and white is always a manly winner.

These cards are unique and clever! You inspire me with all the fine coloring on the first card, and the 2nd one is perfect for the OWH challenge.

The neon dragonfly does not need anything to bring attention to it. Superb creation. The guy card is all guy. Great cards.
