Buttons & Bows

Here's a card for the Shopping our Stash #143 which is "buttons & bows." I used some SU! papers and vanilla card stock to put this together. The die cut is from Spellbinders Medallion Five, and I added a MS punched button and some twine tied into a bow. The sentiment is by SU! and the embossed panel was done with a square lattice ef. Would you believe this card was built around that red scalloped circle I found in my stash of cut elements?! It feels good to pull that unused stash out and finally put it to use!

Have a great Thursday and a very happy first day of spring!!

Yes I would believe that was built around that red scallop circle. It's always fun to pick something out of your stash and try to work around it. I just love this card and I think I need to shop for that medallion. It looks so nice especially when layered with the circle, button/bow. I really like that paper embossed with the Lattice. Very pretty card and some mother will love it. It is going to be in the 50's today so we are taking the Mustang out for the first time and going for a ride. Yay! The poor Mustang hasn't seen the light of day in - forever. It should be a fun day because, of course, we will stop and eat somewhere along the way. Talk to you soon.

Who would have thought a little red circle would have brought about this lovely card? It's fun how we go about
designing our cards. I love that white medallion die cut. Super card, Carol!

High five for using stash items on your card! Funny how a whole card can be built around one little thing.
I think I have that same SU paper!!
Thanks for playing along with us at Shopping Our Stash!

I love this card and there is that medallion #5 again. I was telling a friend about your other card with it and she said she owned that die. Well, I need to get myself over to her house and cut some up. I laughed that the whole card was made up around the red scalloped piece. I've made cards like that. Sometimes it just falls in place wonderfully, like this card, and other times you want to chew your arm off.

Love how you used this medallion with the button. Great papers too, and doesn't look as though your MoJo has gone anywhere! I'm off to enjoy the other cards I've missed while I've been fighting with blogger (and losing too). Hugs & TFS
