Here's my take on the OWH midweek throwdown challenge to "let your light shine." I added a tiny sun image along with a "fun in the sun" sentiment for my shining light. I used a fun Art Impressions stamp I found at my LSS yesterday, isn't he cute?! I put him on a tag with some light blue skies and green grass. The ribbon is retired SU! and the twine is from Whisker Graphics. The papers were from my scrap bin and the sun was done with a 3/4" punch, and a SU! 7/8" scalloped punch. Coloring was done with Copics.
And now back to the NASCAR Daytona season opener..........the race is in a rain delay which gave me enough time to come post my cards real quick :)
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Wow, two cards! I see the doggie got used. Really cute fun creation. The second card is certainly has pizzazz. Very sophisticated. Both neat cards.
Awww...! I love that doggy stamp, he's so cute. You card is so happy and sunny. It is such a contrast to your sketch card, which is all chocolately. Both are great!
Both are great as always.....but you already know which one stole my heart! CUTE little pup and a precious card.
Now I'll let you get back to the races! Have a good day!.

Love the sun shine card from Wednesday. Love your brown tones for today's card. Had to laugh with your comment about Nascar - the race is on (in the other room) and I knew about the rain delay by the groans from the men in the house.
Great take on the sketch...love that sentiment. Yummy colors! tfs!!!
what a fun card for the Mid week throw down. That little dog is a hoot. Cute sun. Your second card is very classy. Love those chocolate gems. It's 5PM and it looks like we are still on a rain delay. Enjoy the race if it comes back on.
Two more great card Carol.
You are such a great designer for your OWH and it is such a good charity to support.
Love the little dog frolicking but especially love the beauty of the second card.
Oh, your doggie is so cute, Carol. I love that back leg thrown up as he takes in some sunshine.
The chocolate and vanilla card is really pretty, too. Love the ribbon.
Hubby and I went for a walk in the park today. Everyone (almost) was in shorts and sleeveless tops. It was an awesome day. Of course, by Wed., the high will be back to high 30's. Yuck!
I had the pleasure of seeing this Doxie card in person, today! Oh my, let me tell you, it is just the cutest! You created such a great version of the sketch challenge, also. A great sentiment, indeed!
Again, two great cards! Your doggie card is both precious and fun. My question to you...How did you get him done so quickly? I just watched you buy this stamp yesterday. Wow! Okay...confession here, I purchased one of these cute little stamps the last time I was in her shop...and yes, It is still sitting in my craft room uninked...(I can't even remember which dog stamp I purchased...or maybe I won't even remember where I put it...LOL
I love both cards! That puppy card is adorable and the papers make it so happy! The sketch card is also stunning with the brown and white contrast. Still on rain delay...keep on crafting :-)
Weeeeell, I like both but I really love your sketch card. Very CAS/monochromatic and it's brown, so it's masculine too. Go you! :)
The puppy is my fav! Cute, cute, cute. The other card is very elegant and pretty. These are great creations! Hugz!
Love how you used the ribbon on your vertical element. Great texture!!
Great cards ! Love the sunny happy feel, that only the wag of a best friend's tail can give you! The monochromatic brown one is very sharp, nice contrast. tFS,
Love both of these fabulous cards! That dog card is too stinkin' cute! I love the papers you used on this one. Your second card is amazing. I love it. Both card are perfect for OWH! Hugs!
Very nice sketch card! That is a great sentiment. :)
I am especially liking your banner design on card #2. Love that classy & subtle color combo too. But #1 just made me smile. You & Lynn find the best doggie images. This is just really cute and your happy colors were great with the little poochie. TFS
I like how crisp the second card looks. Lovely color.
