Sympathy Card

A friend of mine recently lost her mother, and this is the sympathy card I made for her. I used a few scraps of pink cardstock that I had in my overflowing bin of snippets. I stamped the sentiment in a soft grey color, adding a Memory Box duo of butterfly dies (Vivienne & Darla), and a Cheery Lynn mini fanciful flourish. The final touch was to add some pink gems to the flourish, and some pearls to the butterfly. Embossing was done with a Cuttlebug swiss dots ef, while the ribbon, pearls & gems are all from Pizzazz Aplenty.

I'm entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge - which is "anything goes." I'm also entering this into the Snippets Playground #97 since I used snippets of pink.

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a fantastic Tuesday!

Carol

Outstandingly beautiful card,Carol. those little gems on the flourish are so very tender looking. Everything about this card is fabulous except the reason you had to make it. Take care.

These are difficult cards to make. Yours is outstanding, and I'm sure your friend is going to be so comforted to receive this. It's is so beautiful with the soothing soft pastels you chose, and this is my fav MB butterfly. That swirl is lovely as well. TFS & Hugs.
