I've had this Northwoods stamped image in a box for several years, and I finally decided to use it. I colored the image with Copics, and matted it with royal purple cardstock, adding some matching ribbon to the side. No sentiment is needed as the picture pretty much tells the story. I added yellow stickles to the star and that was pretty much it!
I'm entering this card into the MFP Speedy Fox & Friends challenge #188 to make a purple Christmas card.
I hope you're enjoying your weekend, and thanks for stopping by!

Carol, this is just lovely. It's hard to find nice religious themed stamps. I'm not certain, but I think I just bought this on my recent shopping trips. I really like the way you've colored, let the rich purple border & the shining star take center stage. Your coloring is beautiful. TFS, Hugs & stay warm
Oh Carol...what a lovely stamped image. Really brings home the true meaning of Christmas.
Love the way you coloured it and it is perfect just the way you made it!
I agree with you, no sentiment is needed on this card, because the image says it all. The purple bow is the perfect addition, since purple is the color of kings/royalty.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend! :)
What a wonderful stamped image.
