Another Two-Fer Day

The challenge for this week's Shopping Our Stash #127 is to use something already on your desk used from another project. If you saw my post yesterday, you know I've been playing with the SU! mini punch sets, and I had quite a pile of them punched out. I saw a card similar to this on Pinterest and wanted to make one, so I just kept dangling the little "ornaments" until I was happy. The "hangers" are stickers, while I added lots of Geo Sparkler stickers here and there for some extra sparkle. I used 2 different SU! mini punch sets for this one along with glittered & mirror cardstock. The sentiment is a sticker. I'm pleased with the way this one turned out. {click the photo to make larger}

This card was made some time ago and already sent to OWH, but I never posted it and it fits this week's OWH midweek throwdown to use dry embossing. I used my favorite go-to OWH sketch #123 to put this together with autumn-colored papers from my scraps bin. I used Memory Box Vivienne and Darla butterfly dies with vanilla & matching dsp, and added some little punched flowers and gemstones to the bottom to balance things out. The sentiment is from the SU! Upsy Daisy set. The embossing folder is by Cuttlebug.
I was pleasantly surprised to see an older card of mine featured on the mid-week throwdown today, so thanks for the spotlight OWH! Much appreciated :)

Thanks for stopping by today and I'll leave you with "Guess what DAY IT IS!" Ha ha! That hilarious camel just comes to mind every Wednesday for some reason :)  Keep smiling, and make it a great day!

Carol

Wow, you're really turning out these lovely cards! I recognized some of the sticker elements on your gorgeous #1. You really used them so effectively, adding in the SU tiny punches. Awesome look with how you did this one. #2 has my fav MB butterfly and loved the colors & your sketch layout. Wish I could keep up with your production on these cards! TFS & Hugs. Stay warm up in Pa. SC is pretty cold overnight.
