Two Challenges for One Card
Here's another encouragement card I made for Cards for Hospitalized Kids. I used the Shopping our Stash #123 challenge to use our oldest ribbon, along with the Tuesday Morning Sketches #220. I found this cute & free pre-colored digi called "Boo" from Cuddlebug Cuties and I really liked the soft blue & lavender colors, so I pulled papers, cardstock and inks that coordinated with the image. The ribbon is one of those bobbin spools that I've had forever and I used a framelit die from SU! for the blue banner stamped with Baja Breeze ink, along with a lavender banner embossed with a Hero Arts embossing folder. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp and the dsp is from My Mind's Eye. The gemstones are from Recollections.
Here's the inside, done with a Simon Says Stamp die on a die-cut oval from Spellbinders along with MFT alphabet stamps, done with Baja Breeze.
That's going to do it for me today, but thanks for stopping by and make it a great Wednesday!

ReplyDeleteYou've colored it perfectly..Fab job!
I wonder what my oldest ribbon would look like. Don't even know which it is.
Oh are you going to make the day of some tween/teen that is stuck in the hospital. This is just perfect and your little gems and ribbon add such a sweet touch. I love the inside as well as the outside. Enjoy the day.
