I tweaked the OWH sketch #194 to accommodate a larger image panel, but it still closely follows the sketch. I used a Penny Black image, colored with Copics and covered with Versamark, and heat embossed to a shiny gloss. It really made the colors pop, although the camera sees these colors differently. It's a magenta color, but everything looks pink, but you get the idea :) The papers are all from a designer mat pad by Carolyn Gavin and all I added was some black card stock and 2 silver brads!
Have yourself a fine day and as always - thanks for stopping by!
Carol
I see magenta, Carol, on this adorable kitty image creation. You make such wonderful cards for causes. I think I'll go over to SCS and see about their cards for a cause and again send them some of my cards that I haven't used.
ReplyDeleteWhat a little cutie she is! She shines!!! Like that sketch too and of course the magenta colors.

ReplyDeleteOMG How precious! I love this little image, that cup and the background papers. Your little piece of black and white paper with the brads is a nice offset. LOVE, LOVE,LOVE IT.
ReplyDeleteI've loved this cute little PB image ever since I first saw it. Never seen it used in such a dramatic, eye-stopping way though. The color combo was stunning. I've never tried this versamark over the copics. Will have to see how this is done. Loved all the papers with your image, and great coloring, too, BTW! TFS such a sweetie of a card. Hugs

And what is this versamark over copics you speak of...something new to try!!!! Awesome papers and use of the sketch! I am afraid to look at Carolyn Gavin papers- she is new to me- and I am guessing I will want everything she creates! Can you say enabler???? LOL!
