Christmas Birds

I've had this Northwoods stamped image in my collection for years, so I pulled it out, colored it, glittered it, and now I'm entering it into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge - which is to make a Christmas or holiday card. I colored the birds with Copics, then added some glistening snow writer and topped that with some dazzling diamonds glitter. IRL it has a really nice sparkle on the snow which I just love! {click to enlarge and that detail might show better} I did this in traditional colors of red & green, and although these birds could have been colored red like cardinals, they looked like Chickadees to me, so I colored them yellow.

I'll have something a little later on today, so stop back again soon!

Oh, I did enlarge and it is so fabulous and wintry looking with the glitter.

This is a beautiful image and yes I can see the glitter. You did an outstanding job on those little birds. Sometimes I find birds difficult to color. Can't wait to see what else you have for today.
